The Fed Emergency Executive Agency gives a certification program for Independent Flood Adjusters called the State Flood Insurance policy Program. Following completion the flood adjuster obtains any Flood Authorization Number card.

Levels

Here are five categories any flood adjuster can receive authorization on. These categories are Residential (Residence), Manufactured Home, Small Commercial, Large Commercial plus Condominium. Adjusters can certify on all or just just one regarding these categories.

To certify in Home, Commercial or Manufactured Homes, an adjuster must have four years of experience by way of property loss adjusting and preparing scopes of damage of up to $50,000 with made residences also $500,000 for home and commercial. Too the adjuster must attend an NFIP workshop to demonstrate these skills. To certify with Big Business or RCBAP, an adjuster should have 5 long time of great-loss property adjusting and preparing scopes of damages within excess of $500,000. Application
